What is Crossroads Canyon? Faith, Family, and Essentials for Living. We are a close-knit community dedicated to the traditional values of faith, family, liberty, innovation, free enterprise, moral integrity, home education, independence, hard work, private property, recreation, environmental stewardship, personal responsibility, local charity, critical thinking, self-defense, and vigilance.

The community at Crossroads Canyon is passionate about the Biblical worldview and America’s founding principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In fact, these principles aren’t merely bygone “Americana” – they are principles that ring true in every human soul. Therefore, the Crossroads community believes in limited government, limited meddling, limited regulation, limited taxation, and limited restrictions on speech, religion, and assembly. In a nutshell, the world is a better place when governments, bureaucracies, and institutions get out of the way.

Crossroads Canyon is not a throwback group of fundamentalist pilgrims. This is not a community of isolationist cultists, manifesto activists, or bohemian hermits. In fact, nobody at Crossroads wants to go “primitive” – everyone here loves the legacy of Western progress and prosperity. Indeed, the community at Crossroads Canyon fully embraces its electricity, restaurants, and technology. The community also stands for unlimited access to information and ideas.

Many residents of Crossroads Canyon have unique talents, backgrounds, and experiences that they share with the entire community. The list includes woodworking, welding, power generation, gardening, ranching, food storage, hunting, trapping, fishing, survival, security, firearms, natural medicine, education, and communication. In fact, the list of practical skills goes on and on. This website is dedicated to sharing the traditional methods used at Crossroads Canyon with a virtual community of like-minded friends and families.

With that as our preamble, what happens to a “progressive” culture when the traditions of faith, family, community, education, training, work, mentorship, apprenticeship, trade, and accountability disappear? If everything is fast food, video games, and government entitlements, what happens when the whole system goes bust? What if the entire grid goes down, the entire community washes away, or the entire financial system reboots? What then...?

The tools and techniques implemented at Crossroads Canyon are not motivated by the various doomsday scenarios such as World War III, Mideast conflicts, Biblical Armageddon, asteroid collision, alien invasion, zombie apocalypse, solar flares, polar shift, global pandemic, climate change, nuclear holocaust, end times prophecies, or worldwide financial collapse. Simply, cycles of rising and falling -- disaster and survival -- are a recurring reality of human existence. Throughout history, a wise segment of humanity trusts in God, family, work ethic, and living ready to take on what difficulties life throws at them. The rest look to government officials, programs, handouts, and protections. In the end, the results from history are clear.
